TWIN FALLS LOCAL 1556

For over 60 years , IAFF Local 1556 has represented the professional firefighters of Twin Falls, Idaho.
Our priorities are:

  • Safety and Health: Focusing on safe equipment, mental health resources, and preventing cancer for our members

  • Collective Bargaining: Providing a structured process to discuss employment conditions

  • Brotherhood & Sisterhood: Looking out for each other

  • Professional Excellence: Emphasizing member training, leadership, and commitment to service

  • Community Engagement: Being involved beyond emergencies through our Burnout & Benevolent Funds

We fight to better the lives of our Firefighters and Local Community.


PROFESSIONAL FIREFIGHTERS OF IDAHO CONVENTION

Every February, our officers and several of our members attend the PFFI convention. It is a central meeting for all of Idaho’s professional firefighters to advocate for their profession with Idaho Legislators.


PAC - POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE

Twin Falls Local 1556 PAC also works to influence elections and policy by supporting candidates that align with our interests.
